REC’s Wholly Owned Subsidiary-- REC Power Development & Consultancy (RECPDCL) has incorporated wholly owned subsidiary namely ‘Banaskantha Transco’. The company has been incorporated for Transmission scheme for evacuation of power from Augmentation of transformation capacity at Banaskantha (Raghanesda) PS (GIS).  

REC is engaged in providing financial assistance to state electricity boards, state government departments and rural electric cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.
