Coal India has reported rise of 1.7% in coal production to 67.20 million tonnes (MT) (Provisional) during November 2024 as compared to 66.0 MT (Provisional) in November 2023. It produced 471 MT (Provisional) of coal during April- November period, up 2.4% from 460 MT (Provisional) during the same period previous year.
In November 2024, Coal offtake increased marginally by 0.03% to 63 MT (Provisional) from 62.9 MT (Provisional) in November 2023. The total offtake of coal during the April- November period increased to 492.6 MT (Provisional), up 1.5% from 485.2 MT (Provisional) in the corresponding period last fiscal.
