BEML Limited is an Indian company operating in three major business sectors namely Defense & Aerospace, Mining & Construction and Railway & Metro. Its defence and aerospace business manufactures and supplies defence ground support equipment such as Tatra-based high-mobility trucks, aircraft towing tractors, medium and heavy tractors, pontoon bridge systems and others. Its mining and construction business manufactures and supplies equipment such as hydraulic excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, wheel bumpers, dump trucks, graders, pipe fitters, tire handlers, water sprinklers and backhoe loaders to various user groups. Its rail and metro business manufactures and supplies railcars, metro cars, AC electric motor vehicles (ACEMUs), open roof cars (OHEs) and steel and aluminium wagons to the rail and metro sector. It has four manufacturing complexes located in Bengaluru, Kolar Gold Fields, Mysore and Palakkad.
