Polycab India Limited is a manufacturer of wires and cables. The company's field of activity is fast electrical equipment (FMEG). The company operates through three segments: Wires & Cables, FMEG and Others. The Wires and Cables segment manufactures and sells wires and cables. The Fast Moving Electrical Equipment (FMEG) segment deals with fans, LED lighting and equipment, switches, circuit breakers, solar products, pumps, pipes and home appliances. The Other segment consists of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) activities, which include planning, design, supply of materials, measurement, execution and commissioning of electricity distribution and rural electricity projects on a framework basis. It also works on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects. The company owns approximately 25 manufacturing facilities located in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand and the Union Territory of Daman.
