Star Cement Limited is an Indian cement company in North East India. The company's field of activity is the production of cement, cement clinker and cardboard. It operates through the segments: Cement and Power. The company has a 1.67 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) integrated cement plant in the idyllic town of Lumshnong in Meghalaya. Its portfolio of construction products includes Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC 43 Grade) and (OPC 53 Grade) and Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC), Portland Slag Cement (PSC) and a branded product in the value-added segment Anti-Rust Cement (ARC). ). In addition, the company has two grinding units, a two MTPA cement unit at Sonapur near Guwahati and another cement unit at Mohitnagar near Siliguri in West Bengal with a capacity of two million tonnes per annum (MTPA) and an installed capacity of about 5.7 MTPA. Its applications include hydraulic structures, mass concrete works, masonry mortars and plasters.
